Happy Friday!! 😀 I’m starting off the weekend with a post about a specific trend I never thought I’d be particularly fond of: buffalo plaid. To me, the bold, check print on harsh, woolen fabrics has always looked a little … Continue reading
Hello again! Here I find myself cleaning the house sitting around, having intermittent contractions, nomming on Oreos, & impulse buying on Etsy and Sephora…And another thing that you know I do when I have spare time don’t have a child … Continue reading
This evening Hubby and I are heading out to our childbirth class “refresher”. At first, I wasn’t quite sure that I wanted to take a course to virtually walk through everything I already did with my first labor and delivery … Continue reading
Hey guys! I must apologize for being MIA the last 2 weeks or so; on my blog, twitter, and everything else. I have been majorly exhausted. Between entertaining a toddler, house hunting, and becoming more pregnant by the second, I … Continue reading
Baby is… this size of a sesame seed! Well, it’s safe to say that thus far, baby number two is a hellion. But, of course, I mean that in the most endearing way possible. As mothers, no matter what our … Continue reading
Favorite Fur (infinity scarf): Favorite Vintage: Favorite Guilty Pleasure: Favorite Realization: Favorite Childhood Sweet Treat (Buckeyes): Okay, okay, so I cheated on my diet and had a little white cheddar popcorn this week– I won’t tell if you won’t! 😉
Can you tell that I can’t take a break from these Nine West booties?! They go with EVERYTHING!! Honestly, though, this weather is so inconsistent. All last week it was so temperate and “spring like”. Today, it turned into the … Continue reading
I’m so excited today because it is PLAIDURDAY!!!- the national celebration of plaid 🙂 I cannot wait to post more about that tomorrow with photos. If you are unfamiliar with #plaidurday, use the hashtag or google it. Moving on… This … Continue reading
If you’re like me, you make lists on the back of lists you already accomplished to remind yourself to make a neater version of the same list later. That’s my OCD… lists, on lists, on lists. Because of that, I have been thinking about what to pack for our New York trip, coming up next week, for the last few weeks.
Today, I just couldn’t contain myself and started piecing some things together for our FULL day in the city, where I plan to eat, shop, and spend time with my family.
Here’s what I came up with… And, I’m totally in love.
Flared Leg Jeans: eBay, $15.
(I talk more about these here… Someone definitely ripped themselves off by selling these in such perfect condition so cheap)
Plain White Tee- Target, $10
Fringe Vest- Bijuju, $36
Felt Panama- Bijuju, $15
Loafers- Shoe Carnival, $30
Leather/Stone Bracelet- $40 (splurge purchase from a quaint store in Charleston, SC)
So, as the title of this post suggests (and after reading that I got two of the items I’m wearing in the photos from a store called Bijuju. I’m not sure how many of you have this store near you (since they are only in North and South Carolina) but, if you do, you love it– I already know. 😉 Seriously the best store when it comes to spicing up your wardrobe. Visit their website and check out some of their super cute inventory.
What would you wear if you were planning a fun walk-about in the city?– Leave your ideas below or post your outfit and put your link in the comments!
